I purchased these fine treats today at HyVee, Wally World and the Dollar Tree. These are ACTUAL PHOTOS I took with my cute little camera!!!
These babies are chock full of protein — up to 22 grams per serving. They vary though. And they are 10oz each with a lovely 210 to 290 calories per serving. They are from Hormel.
My dietitian told me I can eat 1/2 slice of toasted whole wheat bread with creamy peanut butter on it and a half of a banana for my future “soft foods” breakfasts. Yippee.
Bananas for breakfast and for my Yonanas maker. It’s a win win no matter what!!!
My snobbish old self would never dream of buying a generic form of peanut butter but the new lap band self doesn’t care how she gets her creamy peanut butter. The generic was cheaper than her snobbish old self: Jif.
My all time favorite caffeine free (hot) tea. This is a perfect thing to drink right before meeting Mister Sandman at bedtime.
And by now, you all should know how much I adore black beans of any kind. I found these lucky cans at The Dollar Tree in Yankton (SD) … these are black bean refried beans!! Heat this up with a little salsa and toss on a soft tortilla shell…. my belly is hankering for one… but not till July 11th!!!
