Just Made Breakfast For Several Days

This is NOT what mine ended up looking like!

… for tomorrow and the next and the next and the next.

A big batch of mango smoothies.
* 1% milk
* 1 cup of frozen mangos
* 3 scoops of vanilla whey protein
* 2 ice cubes
* (4) 10oz sippy cups from The Dollar Tree

I took off the lid to taste it. Um… not so much!!! Gack. So I added four big frozen strawberries….

Unfortunately, that didn’t really improve the taste. I’m guessing it’s the vanilla whey protein that was throwing off the great taste of mangos… but something just wasn’t jiving with what I blended up. But I wasn’t going to pour it down the drain either. So I filled up the four 10oz sippy cups I bought yesterday and stuck them in the freezer with my other three smoothies I made the other day.

See, then I just grabbed one in the AM and I chisel out what I want to swallow/chomp on and it’ll last 20-25 minutes like all lap band breakfasts now need to last. Otherwise trying to hold off drinking smoothies for that time frame is for the birds.

My 8-year quest of being BANDED finally happened on June 27, 2012!!! While it will be nice to shed some pounds, my number one goal is to get HEALTHY ...
