Bohemian Burble

= A socially unconventional person.

Guess what happened after I chewed two curly ringlet-like noodles??? Yuppers … they got stuck. Why haven’t I learned this nugget after this past couple of days already!?!? I then tried drinking a small amount of smoothie to no avail.

At least I know my newly tightened band is working. And it should! I am going to hold off anything like noodles or food that requires extra thinking … and stay with really soft foods like mashed up sweet potatoes and mashed potatoes and more pureed stuff. My band will thank me later 🙂

My 8-year quest of being BANDED finally happened on June 27, 2012!!! While it will be nice to shed some pounds, my number one goal is to get HEALTHY ... And to get off ALL my diabetic meds and not have to rely on my CPAP at night and for naps. A few years back I made a decision to only surround myself with positive people and I have never looked back. At times I may be snarky perhaps a little wonky and I will apologize right now if I offend anyone as I blog about my life as I know it. Peace & love to all of my wonderful supporters.

  1. By the way, my toilet got the rest of the noodles in my fridge. I went and bought all SOFTY foods too. Am NOT going to put myself through another "stuck" episode that's for sure!!!

  2. Lesson learned yet again. 😦 …ha ha ha …Made it worse for me, the liquids!!!

  3. I am going back to pureed and soft food for awhile!

  4. I have to resist the impulse to drink when I get stuck – it never makes it better (and sometimes makes it worse!).

  5. Whoops! You'll have to slowly incorporate "normal" food 1 food at a time.
