Another NSV — Can I Hear a Whoop Whoop????

A Non-Scale Victory (NSV) today: I am wearing jeans that I bought and last wore in 2004 today to the vendor fair at Landmann-Jungman Memorial Hospital in Scotland (5:30pm to 7:30pm) … JEANS people, JEANS from 2004!!!!

I was actually going thru the box that I was “saving to wear” … and pulled out four other pairs of jeans from LANE BRYANT and CJ BANKS that literally fell off my hips and to the floor… jinkies… and this was the last pair to try on and they are loose at the waist too.

I am so inspired by Ashley @ Invisible Ink too. She’s down 100+ lbs since May 2, 2012. What an unreal, surreal, unbelievable, remarkable woman she is. And I got a lot of her 2X clothes now too. Awesome and ah-mazing creature.

While I am no where near Ashley’s outstanding weight loss … I’m moving at a snail’s pace but am proud of all the NSV’s I’ve had thus far too. And proud of my new life style of eating and snacking and no longer feeling the need to binge or hide my food. Or anything else compulsive and emotional eaters do.

My 8-year quest of being BANDED finally happened on June 27, 2012!!! While it will be nice to shed some pounds, my number one goal is to get HEALTHY ... And to get off ALL my diabetic meds and not have to rely on my CPAP at night and for naps. A few years back I made a decision to only surround myself with positive people and I have never looked back. At times I may be snarky perhaps a little wonky and I will apologize right now if I offend anyone as I blog about my life as I know it. Peace & love to all of my wonderful supporters.

  1. Jeans!

I had that happen a few times, too, where I was saving something to wear and then when I actually put it on, it was too big. A little sad, but mostly a big yay!

We’re in this for the long-haul, baby! The lifestyle change is what it’s all about.
