I am eating my first grilled cheese sandwich since before surgery. Seems strange to be eating it though. And even though my bread isn’t toasted, it’s fried and I am not supposed to be eating any type of processed cheese — am using the individual processed cheese slices that come in those annoying plastic wrap. My list of foods to not eat after surgery included both above said foods.
I had the weirdest and strangest sleep too. And the oddest dreams. Every time I would wake up, I had no covers on me and they were all on the floor. I hate when I don’t sleep right.
Now back to the grilled cheese. It’s getting stuck. I just checked out my cupboards and fridge and don’t really find anything attractive to eat. I have cans and cans of Progresso soup … two things of cottage cheese …. and that’s about it. Nothing fun. But what’s fun for a lap bandster really???
Yesterday my eating was awesome. I had potato soup for my brunch and had a very small chicken salad wrap for my supper before going to the vendor fair … at at the fair, I had some appetizers and plenty of bottled water.
I’m gazing down at the plate holding my wonky grilled cheese. After cutting it in half, I have only consumed 3/4 of one slice. And it is literally sitting on my band feeling rather funky. And far from funklicious.
