This AM for a late breakfast/early lunch I put in one heaping scoop of milk chocolate SF powder; one half cup of rolled oats; one plain flavored Greek yogurt; 4 ice cubes and 2% milk. Whipped it all together and delish!!!!
I have a freezer full of Banquet chicken nuggets and popcorn chicken that I bought a few months ago because once again they were cheap and on sale at the store. I have barely dipped in to one of the three large bags. I am trying to swallow down a few of the popcorn chicken as I type but (a) it doesn’t taste good; (b) it’s processed and (c) the package has more than 5 ingredients on the package.
My facebook friend Joy and her mom Kay told me to keep to 5 ingredients or less on every package. I lost count on the Banquet chicken packages. Thankfully I have coworkers who have tiny children that would love the nuggets for future meals. Live and learn. But definitely I plan on learning a lot about not eating processed food like I was doing — wrongly — in the past.
I am headed to the largest city in South Dakota this afternoon. It will take 90 minutes and I’ll be picking up my mom from the airport at 9PM. The thing is… I hate driving at night and I hate driving in crappy South Dakota winter weather. In my village right now, I’m staring outside to flurries and cold wind. I checked the doppler to Sioux Falls and it’s all clear. I’m treating myself to a NOOK HD at Barnes & Noble tonight and one last restaurant meal of something awesome. Then it’s back to home sweet home.
