The glorious thing about my new gig is … we get all the liquids we can consume for freebies. And I’ve stuck to my unsweetened black ice tea. I’ve also swallowed hot peppermint tea that I brought the bag from home.
But my four shifts went by fast. And I am forever grateful I was hired.
Now I do not know what to write about or say. I am a happy successful survivor of the lap band surgery.
Who wants to continue reading about that???? I’m fairly certain I will have more struggles ahead but I am going to do everything in my power to stay on tract.
And if I do not … I am going to make another appointment with my surgeon to go in for another fill.
I work tomorrow through Sunday — yes six full days … am I complaining??? Ah no. It’s work. And I am getting paid. I’m also on my feet during three-fourths of each of my shift too. And because I am so much lighter than before, this does not bother me. Or my weird wonky ankle. Or my legs. Or my hips. And no more back pain.
Knock on wood.
